Fire pit area, chairs, picnic table and patio furniture are provided. Firewood is also provided, but it is while the supply lasts. A gas grill and charcoal grill are also provided. Spacious, clean and comfortable two bedroom, 1 bath home on beautiful 355 acre Crane Lake. Crane Lake is a quiet lake with water access to 2500 acre Pickerel Lake. One bedroom has a queen size bed and two dressers. The second bedroom has a queen size pillow top bed and one dresser. Both bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and large closets. Bed linens are provided, all bed linens are bleached and washed in hot water between guests. We very comfortabley sleep four guests. If your requirements exceed four guests, please contact the hosts directly for special consideration. Our calendar incorporates our personal days, if there appears to be a conflict with the time you are looking for, contact us, we still may be able to accommodate you. We may be able to adjust our calendar. One full bathroom with tub and shower, and plenty of storage for your personnel needs. One set of bath towels for each guest are provided, all towels and wash cloths are bleached and washed in hot water between guests. Beach towels are not included. Our home does NOT have air conditioning or internet service. There are ceiling fans throughout and keep the living and sleeping areas very comfortable on those warmer days. There is also a small floor fan located in the hall closet. Our home is shaded by a canopy of trees for most of the day. A comfortable living room area is equipped with a ceiling fan and has a queen size sleeper sofa and plenty of seating. A High Definition LED TV and Blue Ray DVD player are provided. A digital antenna provides several local stations. Spacious eat-in kitchen is fully outfitted with oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and slow-cooker. There is a large dining table which can seat six. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware and spice are all provided, along with kitchen towels, washcloths, and dish detergent. A new sealed dish wash sponge and scrubby is supplied with each rental, all other towels and wash cloths are bleached and washed in hot water between guests. Step from the kitchen and living room, out to the huge deck that spans the entire house. Sit on the deck with your coffee or favorite beverage and listen to loons, while watching eagles soar above you. Head down to the second deck and sitting area, overlooking the lake. Additional seating and small tables are provided. A few more steps lead you to the boat house, with a fish cleaning area and a large private pier. Fish for bluegill, crappie, large mouth bass, northern pike, small mouth bass and walleye, right off the pier. The fish cleaning area is well lighted and has running water. Please dispose of all fish entrails at the dump, do not dispose of them in the lake or woods. A public boat launch is located just five minutes away, should you wish to bring your own boat. A 12' row boat, paddle boat and a canoe are provided as a curtesy for your enjoyment. A large stone fire pit is located out back, with plenty of extra seating available to enjoy a bonfire and toasting marshmallows, while star-gazing up above. You must provide your own firewood. Please do not burn during dry or windy conditions, you will be responsible for out of control fires and fire department calls. Spacious covered patio area is supplied with plenty of seating, ceiling fan and an outside picnic table for relaxing and/or dining. Perfect spot for those rainy days. A weber grill is provided. Please bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid. This is a very rural area, garbage pick-up is not available, you need to take your garbage and recyclables to the town dump or home. During the winter months the cottage easily sleeps six people(Upstairs is closed during winter months). This is a 22 foot boat with a live-well, 90 horse 4-stoke Mercury motor, fish finder, 27 gallon fuel tank, bimini top and seating for up to 12 persons. We also have a newer ELECTRIC BOAT LIFT - just lower the boat with the key fob and head out onto the lake. Lots of room to fish off this boat or enjoy a ride around the lake. Our rental rates are competitively priced at $1,200 to $2,800 per week during the boating season. Part of an old resort, this property has some of the best swimming frontage on the lake. This 1300 acre recreational lake is great for boating, skiing, fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Private pier, paddle boat, 2 kayaks and 2 stand up paddle boards are available for use; some flotation devices available. Both a gas and charcoal grill are available for use. The bedroom has a queen size bed with window seat for storage during your stay. Living area has a queen size fold out couch. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you should need during your stay, including a coffee maker, electric griddle, toaster, hand mixer and toaster oven and a few basic spices. The cottage has a large 14 x 16 ft deck with a glider and ample seating perfect for viewing all lake activities including both sunrises and sunsets. Sit back and listen to the loons and watch the eagles soar overhead. A large fire pit for roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories sits a couple steps from the cottage. No need to bring extra lawn chairs as there are plenty available. Don't feel like cooking? Take a short walk down the road to the Final Lap where you can get a cold drink, great pizza, chicken wings, burgers, etc. They also offer movie rentals and a place to play a couple games of pool or darts or participate in karaoke every other Saturday evening. The lake looks like a small city with the ice shanty's spread around the lake. ATV access can be gained by a simple ride down our street! There are maps and info available at our desk area. You won't believe the endless ATV trails in our area! There are so many updated trails that are the best in the state (according to my father). Our large driveway has plenty of room to park trailers and vehicles! Don't forget to visit Laona in the winter! Jump on the 100 Mile Snow Safari Trail (140miles) with access right up the road! Our trails link up to the LumberJack Memorial Trail (100 miles) and all the way to the Michigan U.P. The snowmobile trails system is endless. Across the road there is additional parking, a sand volleyball court, and another fire-pit area with picnic tables. The Pickerel area has lots of good fishing, water to swim and ski on, atv trails, a golf course, taverns, restaurants, and is close to Mole Lake Casino.
